NEW TERRITORIES
New Territories marks Franz Galo’s first solo exhibition and the beginning of a new artistic chapter. Bringing together a carefully curated selection of works created over the past three years, the exhibition traces the evolution of an artist gradually moving beyond the conventions of portraiture to embrace a freer, more instinctive and poetic visual language.
The title, New Territories, speaks of exploration in every sense. It evokes not only new places, but the invisible landscapes we all navigate throughout our lives: identity, intimacy, vulnerability, desire, memory and transformation. It is equally a reflection of the artist’s own journey: an embrace of creative freedom and the courage to venture beyond familiar ground in search of a more authentic voice.
New Territories is ultimately an invitation to cross unseen borders, to embrace the unknown and to discover that every new horizon begins with a different way of seeing.
